Interested in offering the women of your community a safe and enjoyable introduction to firearms and shooting sports? Consider hosting a Women On Target® Instructional Shooting Clinic.
For over 20 years, Women On Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics have served as an entry point for women in shooting sports. The clinics offer novice shooters a welcoming environment for a first experience and offer all women opportunities to connect with others who share their interests in shooting sports.
Women On Target® clinics range in size from a small handful to several hundred. The clinics encourage women to try recreational shooting by reducing barriers to entry and by offering an inviting, friendly, positive experience for shooters of all ages and abilities.
Generous support from the NRA Foundation allows Women On Target® to assist Clinic Directors with free event materials, and qualifying nonprofit groups are encouraged to apply for additional grant funding through the NRA Foundation.
Providing Women On Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics to the general public is a valuable community service. Nonprofit groups, organizations, clubs, law enforcement, and government agencies are encouraged to apply for grant funding. Individual instructors are not eligible for grants.
You will find the grant application deadline, links to all required forms, your NRA Field Representative’s contact information, state fund committee meeting date, and all the necessary information you will need to apply at the NRA Foundation website.
